A Somatic and Mindfulness-Based Approach to Holistic Wellbeing
I am honored to work with individuals who want to connect more deeply to who they truly are and live from a place of greater embodied peace and freedom. I offer the following services:
Psychospiritual Development & Hakomi Therapy
These sessions facilitate communication with one’s inner wisdom – with the intelligence of the body, psyche, and spirit – to address current life challenges. In our work together, you will be supported in mindful inquiry with your present moment experience, such as noticing what’s happening in your body (sensations, inner narratives, etc.) and exploring what arises in response to various inquiries and prompts. This type of inquiry helps access the core experiences and beliefs that exist in the subconscious (and nervous system) and influence the way we experience many dimensions of our lives.
These sessions integrate Hakomi, Internal Family Systems, Shamanism, and somatic and breath-based tools for nervous system regulation, and my approach is one of assisting self-discovery through collaboration, curiosity, and compassionate presence. Please note that this work is not psychotherapy, and should not replace care provided by a licensed mental health provider.

Breathwork
Conscious connected breathwork is a gentle yet powerful modality to access healing at the level of the body and nervous system, as well as expanded states of consciousness that can bring about meaningful insight and understanding. By engaging a simple connected breathing pattern (for approx. 50-minutes), an altered state is induced that can open new doors of perception and experience, and help your body safely metabolize energy from cumulative stress and/or past trauma. As the only function of the autonomic nervous system that can consciously be influenced, the breath is a critical link to influencing physical, psychological, and mental wellbeing.

Yoga & Meditation Instruction
As a senior Hatha Yoga & Meditation teacher and practitioner of over 20 years, I offer private instruction for those seeking to deepen their relationship with these practices and to experience greater clarity in body and mind. These sessions can include instruction on core principles and approaches to meditation, yoga asana and alignment/refinement, or a series of sessions that specifically address your goals and intentions.

What to Expect:

Sessions generally begin with a few minutes of mindfulness meditation to transition into the space, with space following to share what’s arising in your experience. I will suggest some experiments and inquiries in mindfulness to help you explore and study your experience more deeply, paying attention to body sensations, emotional mind states, non-verbal gestures and indicators, memories that surface, inner narratives and voices, etc.
The space is gentle and nourishing with no agenda to “fix” or solve anything, but rather to – with curiosity, compassion, and kindness – bring awareness to that within that is seeking to be uncovered, seen, heard, and understood. Often when we meet our experience in this way, change happens.

Sessions begin with time to check-in and presence what’s surfacing in your life, and any intentions you have for the session. If you are new to breathwork, I will share a bit about the breathing technique and some context for what can arise, and answer any questions you may have.
The breathwork journey is a 60-minute experience, done reclined. I will offer verbal cues and guidance throughout, and also leave space for you to access the deeper terrain of your body and psyche. For in-person sessions, I offer touch-based support to help open the breath, and in both in-person and online sessions, I use energetic-based techniques to support release, balance and flow.
Throughout the session, you will be invited to take periods of rest (anytime), explore breath holds, and welcome any sound or body movement. A thoughtfully curated soundtrack will help support the expanded state work.
The breathwork ends with time to let your body rest and integrate, and the session will close with space to share about your experience (as desired).
As this type of dynamic, active breathing can induce slightly altered states and energetic movement (including emotional release), I recommend scheduling your session for a time when you don’t immediately have to switch gears back to work or social commitments.

Psychospiritual Coaching and Breathwork are appropriate for anyone seeking to know themselves more deeply and experience more ease, fulfillment, and growth in their life. While I see all sorts of people in my practice, I often work with:

If you are specifically interested in breathwork and experiencing an expanded-state, somatic healing journey, you are welcome to schedule a breathwork session. If you are seeking to explore your experience with more guidance and moment-to-month support, I recommend a coaching/Hakomi session, and we can integrate breathwork in future sessions, as appropriate. You can also schedule a coaching session if you are interested in breathwork, but would like more time to connect and build the foundation for ongoing work together, and to discuss any history of trauma that might surface in our somatic work together.

There is no recommended number or sessions or frequency of sessions. One breathwork experience can be profoundly transformative, and in a series of sessions, we can track more deeply rooted patterns and themes and you have a regular container to “drop in” and tend to your inner listening and well-being.

Online sessions are ideal for those seeking support from any location, with more scheduling options to align with your schedule. Some people also prefer being in the comfort of their own home, without having to commute after. As a shamanic healing practitioner who is highly energetically attuned, I am able to work very effectively in a remote capacity.
In-person sessions add the element of touch, which is profoundly beneficial in somatic therapies like breathwork. For anyone whose body holds more significant trauma, I strongly recommend in-person work, as I’ll be able to track your process moment-to-moment and ensure that I can help you safely and productively respond to all that arises in your experience.

Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled with 24-hour notice by email, and 48-hour notice for in-person breathwork sessions.
I am not a licensed mental health provider and this type of coaching is not covered by insurance.
